Video: Harry Connick Jr. Duets with His Daughter

Singer Harry Connick Jr.'s 11-year-old daughter, Kate, made her national singing debut on NBC's Today show Wednesday, joining her dad on the holiday classic, "Winter Wonderland." Connick, who has two other daughters, Georgia, 12, and Charlotte, 6, with wife Jill Goodacre, beamed as he watched his middle child perform. Kate's surprisingly natural, relaxed-sounding voice – the opposite of so many young singers who try to belt like Mariah, or whose voices are touched up with special effects in the studio – is featured on Connick's new CD, What a Night! A Christmas Album. Working with his daughter "brought back some nice memories," Connick says on his Web site,

Dancing Sets Date for Spring Fling

Brooke Burke's moment in the spotlight just got upgraded from 15 minutes to three months—the time until Dancing With the Stars' newest batch of celebs takes to the parquet. ABC announced this morning that the eighth season of the reality-show giant will (cross) kick off March 9 with a two-hour special premiere. Unlike this past season, where two couples were unceremoniously given the boot during the first week of competition, the upcoming season will allow the would-be eliminated dancers to double their screen time, with each couple performing for two weeks before the first elimination takes place.
