Game of Thrones” Season 7 premiered too late to be eligible for this year’s Emmys (“The Handmaid’s Tale” won Best Drama Series after “Thrones'” two-year winning streak), but the fantasy epic now has its sights set on returning to awards season and winning big at the Golden Globes. Gold Derby reports HBO will be shaking up their strategy and submitting Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington in the lead acting races.

Glow's Betty Gilpin Prepares For Wrestling Dramedy's Season 2: 'I Feel Like My Soul Was in a Five-Car Pileup'
The thing about being one of the leads in a 1980s-set dramedy about lady wrestlers is, your look is still stuck in the Reagan era even after the cameras stop rolling for the day.

“I’m looking at my gel French manicure now, and that, combined with my spray tan, every public place I walk into, I want to clink a glass, like, ‘Ding, ding, ding’ and announce that this is for a character and not from my personal choice,” Glow‘s Betty Gilpin says, chuckling.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Ratings Deflate 7 Percent From 2016

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Ratings Deflate 7 Percent From 2016
Everyone loves a parade — some years more than others. Thursday’s 91st Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade slipped 7.4 percent from last year in the earliest-available Nielsen ratings numbers. Yesterday, the long walk through Manhattan averaged a 12.5 rating/27 share on NBC, per some very preliminary data out of the nation’s 56 metered-markets. Compare that with 2016’s march toward Herald Square, which had actually scored its top overnight rating in 13 years — a 13.5/29. The 2017 parade put up a 7.0 rating among adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters. The year-ago’s version landed a 7.7, which was a...

TV Ratings: Thanksgiving NFL Sees Primetime Fatigue

TV Ratings: Thanksgiving NFL Sees Primetime Fatigue
Thursday's big NFL showdowns dominated Thanksgiving TV but by a slightly smaller margin than in 2016.

The night's prime time game, Washington's 20-10 victory over the New York Giants, was down around 10 percent from the comparable NBC showing in 2016. The game averaged a 9.7 overnight rating among households. It's not as steep of a dip as the one seen last year, but it still stings on a night where little else is happening on TV.

The 2016 game scored a 10.8 household rating for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts.

Still awaiting returns for the day's afternoon...

Supernatural Recap: [Spoiler] Returns — and Forms a Shocking Alliance
Supernatural‘s Dean and Sam got a most unwelcome surprise this Thursday, in the form of the return of an old, “dead” foe, the British Men of Letters’ Mr. Ketch. (Mary did shoot him in the head, but this is Supernatural, so silly them — and me — for thinking he was gone.)

At first, Ketch — who is going after witches as a hunter for hire — tries to convince the Winchesters that he’s actually Arthur’s twin brother, Alexander. For real. If you’re thinking that’s too unbelievable,

Why John Lennon Actually Wrote the Line “I Am the Walrus”

People have been theorizing over why John Lennon wrote the line I am the Walrus for a while now even after more than one explanation has been given. The reason behind it seems to be the simplest thing in the world, but then people don’t always like the simplest answer since they figure that nothing simple can be exciting or good. He was on an acid trip while he wrote the song and came up with some seriously weird lyrics that were inspired by things he’d seen and heard during his average days. How hard is it to say something

This is a Most Impressive Hogwarts Gingerbread House

Reddit user louisesiuol created this insanely intricate Harry Potter Hogwarts gingerbread house! It was no easy task and took a lot of trial and error, she spent a week making her castle and another cleaning up the mess. The results are nothing but a magical creation. Just imagining the amount of work and effort that went into this design is enough to make a person’s head spin, but the faithful representation should impress even the most jaded cynic. The idea of how long this would take is mind-boggling, and the thought that parts of it could come crumbling down if the creator

Jake Johnson Reveals How He Helped Save New Girl From Cancellation
Jake Johnson really did not want New Girl to end with last season’s Nick-Jess elevator smooch. So when series creator Liz Meriwether invited the cast to reach out directly to Fox co-chairmen Dana Walden and Gary Newman to plead their case for a final, abbreviated seventh season, he jumped at the chance.

“I was one of [cast members] that wrote them and asked for more,” Johnson tells TVLine, before recounting the specific appeal he made to Walden and Newman. “I said, ‘I don’t think you gave us enough time to finish the show the right way. And I would really
