During Siskel and Ebert's final episode together on January 23, 1999, Gene mentions a character having surgery while reviewing "At First Sight" and Roger mentions a character that uses a speech synthesizer while reviewing "The Theory of Flight". Gene would later go onto die in surgery and Roger would go onto use a speech synthesizer in the latter years of his life. See more
