Trivia

The original cut of the movie was so poorly received by audiences that the film had to be extensively re-edited in a desperate attempt to please fans by removing many scenes of Billy Magnussen and focusing more on Philip Ng as Bruce Lee. See more »

White Male Saves The Day Again
28 September 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Absolutely disrespectful piece of garbage fantasy film. The film makers have the audacity to make Bruce Lee a sideshow freak instead of the legend he should be remembered as, focusing the story on another White Male who saves Asian Woman story line at the expense of Lee. Disgusting.

Not only that, but the Bruce Lee that is depicted here is some kind of one dimensional, jealous loser who must help the White Male save his Asian girlfriend... what kind of bull**** White Male fantasy story line is this?

I feel bad for the Asian kids growing up in this generation who did not know about Bruce Lee and now have to remember him this way. Utterly disrespectful and I hope all the film makers involved in this production never work again.
